I have always been an animal lover, and owned dogs, cats, and all the various household pets. My interest in Rough Collies was after my car accident in December 1970. At that time I owned two Collie cross bitches, one was killed in the accident, and the other ran away, we can only presume she went looking for her.
My next door neighbour had a Rough Collie, and after my stay in hospital, and I could walk again, I used to walk him to school to meet my son. In February 1971 I had purchased my first Rough Collie bitch from May Young [Ugony]
I started showing and breeding in 1986 and have been very successful.
I have bred six champions, CH GERIAN SUNSILK, CH GERIAN SUNKISSED, CH GERIAN SUNSHINE,
CH GERIAN SUNFLOWER AT COLLINGVALE , CH GERIAN SUNDANCE and CH GERIAN SUNBERRIES

In 1999 I was Top Breeder and also owned the Top Brood Bitch Gerian Sunbeam who produced three Champions. The sire of Gerian Sunbeam was Gerian Latest Flame, he won the Ladypark Trophy, and also gained his Stud Book Number, and I feel played a large part in my kennel.
